About the Role
In this mobile optometry position, you’ll provide essential eye care services directly onsite at senior living facilities throughout Chicagoland (3 weeks/month) and travel 1 week/month to Central or Southern Illinois (with covered expenses and stipend).
Key responsibilities include:
Comprehensive eye exams for aging adults
Refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular disease
Collaborating with facility teams to ensure continuity of care
Maintaining a friendly, respectful, and professional presence in each setting

Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking Optometrists who are:
Passionate about serving older adults and underserved populations
Experienced in refracting, diagnosing, and managing ocular pathologies
Adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working independently
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Illinois
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but not required.
