What You'll Be Doing

As our Optician, you'll be the person patients trust to translate their prescription into the perfect pair of glasses. Your day-to-day will include:

• Guiding patients through frame selection based on their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style


• Accurately interpreting and filling prescriptions, including specialty and progressive lenses


• Taking precise measurements and ensuring proper fit


• Performing adjustments, minor repairs, and troubleshooting fit or comfort issues


• Educating patients on lens options (coatings, materials, contact lenses, etc.)


• Coordinating with our ophthalmologists and clinical staff to ensure smooth handoffs between exam and optical


• Maintaining an organized, welcoming optical showroom


• Handling optical orders, insurance verification for eyewear, and inventory as needed
