Manage insurance accounts receivables to include:
Verify insurance eligibility and document benefits and out of pocket amounts for patient appointments.
Review and submit claims for medical and vision plan payers.
Reconcile and post insurance payments.
Review and address denied, rejected and unpaid claims in a timely fashion.
Communicate with payers and practices as the need arises.
Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
Optometric billing, coding and IAR management experience is required.
Familiarity with practice management software such as:
Revolution EHR, MaximEyes and Crystal PM
